Dr Pokpong Amornvit is a Thailand-registered dentist, researcher, and educator specialising in digital dentistry. He earned his DDS and MS in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from Mahidol University, completed a Certificate in Implant Dentistry at UCLA, and later obtained his PhD in Oral Health Science from Prince of Songkla University.

His special interests include digital implant dentistry, clear aligner therapy, restorative aesthetics, facial-driven treatment planning, and digital smile design. He is passionate about integrating digital technologies to improve treatment accuracy, efficiency, and patient experience.

Dr Pokpong created PPFaceDesign, a facial-driven digital workflow philosophy, and PPFacebow, a digital facebow system for comprehensive treatment planning. As the founder of Connext in Bangkok, he trains dental professionals from across Asia and internationally through lectures, workshops, and hands-on programmes in digital dentistry.

Dr Ronald Chan is the Chairman and Executive Director of Modern Dental Group Limited. He leads the Group’s strategic planning, operations, sales, and marketing across Southeast Asia. He also serves as the CEO of the Group’s clear aligner business.

He graduated from the University of Manchester with an MSc in Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry; Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University with an MBA with Distinction; the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery; and the University of Calgary with a BSc in Biological Science with Distinction.

His passion for the dental industry has driven him to become not only an actively practising dentist in Hong Kong but also a part-time clinical lecturer at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital and the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Arend Van Den Akker is a Netherlands-registered dentist with more than 40 years of clinical experience in general, prosthetic, and esthetic dentistry. He graduated from ACTA Amsterdam and began his career as a dental officer in the Royal Dutch Navy before establishing his private practice in Alphen aan den Rijn, where he continues to practise today.

His special interests include esthetic restorative dentistry, digital dentistry, dental sleep medicine, and minimally invasive restorative techniques. He is passionate about integrating digital workflows into everyday clinical practice while delivering functional and esthetic treatment outcomes.

Dr Van Den Akker is an internationally recognised trainer and key opinion leader for multiple dental companies, including Dentsply Sirona, SureSmile, Ivoclar, VOCO, and FirstFit. He is the founder of Academiae Aesthetica, a masterclass programme in esthetic dentistry, president of the SureSmile Peer Group Netherlands, and an accredited provider of dental sleep medicine.

Dr Irene Lau is a Hong Kong-based pediatric dentist and clinical educator with more than two decades of international experience across Hong Kong, mainland China, and the United States.

Her clinical practice and teaching centre on the intersection of pediatric dentistry, dental sleep and airway health, myofunctional care, and special care dentistry.

Dr Lau earned her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2003 and completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Mount Sinai Medical Centre, New York.

She serves as Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Paediatric Dentistry, Vice President of the Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, and a board member of the Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia (PDAA).

Dr. Lau is the co-founder of Family Smile Limited and T.O.P. Dental by Family Smile Limited — airway-focused, multidisciplinary dental clinics in Hong Kong — and the founder of NCO Hello Smile Hong Kong Limited.

She is also the co-director and creator of Dome 4 Kidz, an international educational series for dentists on pediatric dental sleep medicine.

Dr Nateetorn Piukwjacharakul is a Thailand-registered prosthodontist and clinical educator based in Bangkok. He earned his dental degree from Srinakharinwirot University, completed his prosthodontic residency at Mahidol University, and is a Diplomate of the Thai Board of Prosthodontics.

His special interests include esthetic prosthodontics, smile design, ceramic veneers, implant-supported restorations, and comprehensive restorative rehabilitation. He is committed to achieving functional harmony alongside natural esthetic outcomes through interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Dr Nateetorn has extensive experience in both academia and private practice. He previously served as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics at Srinakharinwirot University and continues as a visiting lecturer. He is also an instructor at Mediclass Training Centre, delivering lectures and hands-on education programmes in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.

Dr Kay Yen Lai Kee is a Malaysia-registered dentist and a member of the Malaysian Dental Council, with professional experience across Malaysia, China, and Singapore. She has built a unique career spanning both the clinical and commercial aspects of dentistry, giving her a strong understanding of treatment planning, product development, clinician education, and market adoption.

Her special interests include clear aligner therapy and mandibular advancement devices (MADs) for the management of obstructive sleep apnea. She is passionate about translating clinical evidence into practical workflows that can be readily implemented in daily practice.

Dr Kay is an experienced regional trainer who has conducted numerous clear aligner study clubs and hands-on education programmes across Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Her training focuses on providing clinicians with practical, evidence-based approaches to aligner treatment and digital dentistry.

Dr Chisanu Lertthawinchira is a Thailand-registered esthetic restorative and implant dentist based in Bangkok. He earned his dental degree from Srinakharinwirot University, completed his master’s degree in Esthetic and Implant Restorative Dentistry at Chulalongkorn University, and received advanced training in implant restorative dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

His special interests include ceramic veneers, smile design, esthetic restorative dentistry, and implant-supported rehabilitation. He is dedicated to combining biological principles with restorative precision to create predictable and natural-looking treatment outcomes.

Dr Chisanu is an experienced clinical educator and visiting lecturer in the Department of Conservative and Prosthodontics at Srinakharinwirot University. He is also an instructor at Mediclass Training Center, where he conducts lectures and hands-on programmes focused on restorative workflows, smile design, and esthetic dentistry.

Dr Brian Liao is a United States-trained dentist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in comprehensive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association.

His special interests include full-mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and complex restorative treatment planning. He is passionate about restoring oral health, function, and aesthetics through comprehensive interdisciplinary care.

Dr Liao has completed extensive postgraduate training in implantology, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics. His clinical practice focuses on managing complex restorative and orthodontic cases using evidence-based treatment approaches.

Dr Kyungseo Park is a South Korea-registered prosthodontist and the founder of Darun Dental Clinic in Seoul. He completed advanced prosthodontic training at the University of Southern California and earned his master’s degree from Seoul National University School of Dentistry, with additional training in periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and maxillofacial prosthodontics.

His special interests include esthetic prosthodontics, comprehensive oral rehabilitation, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and minimally invasive orthodontic-restorative rehabilitation. He is dedicated to delivering harmonious esthetic and functional outcomes through multidisciplinary care.

Dr Park is an adjunct professor at Samsung Medical Center and holds leadership positions in several Korean dental academies. He is an award-winning speaker and clinician, recognised by the Korean Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for his work on interdisciplinary esthetic rehabilitation.

Mr Miles McGann is a leader in orthodontic education and digital dentistry, serving as CEO of Progressive Orthodontics and Executive Vice President of MEDIT Orthodontics. With extensive experience in orthodontic treatment planning, digital workflows and clear aligner therapy, Miles is passionate about helping clinicians integrate digital tools into everyday practice. He brings a practical, clinically focused approach to education, making complex treatment planning concepts accessible and actionable for dental professionals. 

A leading dental technology and orthodontic laboratory professional with extensive experience in clear aligner production, dental technology education and industry leadership.

He currently serves as Chief Production Manager of the TrioClear® Aligner System, alongside leadership roles as General Director of the Korean Dental Orthodontics Technician Association and General Director of the Korean Dental Laboratory Employers Association.

He also serves as Education Director of the Seoul Dental Technologist Association and as an Adjunct Professor at Shin-Gu University and Hye-Jeon University, contributing to the education and development of the next generation of dental technology professionals.
